Description
Bursting on the punk scene are Dundee, Scotland’s own Delinquents. This young band punksters are serving up a bit of a racket overseas. We at Violated Records were so impressed by their demos that we agreed to release a full length right away. Only being a band for a little under 2 years these Delinquents are turning many heads and are often choosen as the support slots for every punk band in the UK that is still relevant.
Their debut full length on Violated Records “About Last Night” serves up some of the catchiest punk rock around. Tracks such as: “Ctrl Alt Defeat”, “Valentines Day” and “Waste Of Time” will have you sucked in quickly and singing in no time. Led by guitarist/ vocalist: David Hennessey, along with bassist: Graeme and drummer Ryan this 3 piece punk outfit from Dundee are making their mark known in the punk scene. With influences ranging from Green Day, Naked Raygun, The Replacements and GBH they are sure to have a broad mass appeal to anyone into punk rock music or just who has just a plain ear for good old-fashioned melodies.
Sure they clearly have the ability to throw a punk influenced shoe-gazing number together, but they will leave you singing these songs in your head for days. Violated Records is excited to release “About Last Night” to the American punk audience.
The band have putting on their own shows in intimate venues in Dundee to raise donations for their local food banks as well as playing all over Scotland and the UK. These Delinquents have shared the stage with their punk heroes such as 999, Henry Cluney of Stiff Little Fingers, Angelic Upstarts, The Vibrators, and have also graced the world’s biggest punk festival Rebellion in Blackpool.
This is one album you don’t wanna sleep on.
